MUNICIPAL INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS - CIVIL ENGINEER

Goldston Engineering, Inc. currently has important career opportunities for Civil Engineers with experience in Municipal Infrastructure Projects.  Project experience may include the broad spectrum of roads and bridges; wastewater treatment plants, collection systems, and lift stations; water transmission and distribution systems; and storm water master planning and management.

The qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited university and have two or more years of relevant experience.  Demonstrated experience may include: performing design calculations, proficiency in CADD applications, and field inspections.  We are looking for self-motivated individuals with the ability to work well individually as well as in team assignments.  Good communications skills are important.  A solid fundamental engineering background is required but our internal programs are designed to help the right candidates grow their careers technically and professionally.

MUNICIPAL INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS - PROJECT MANAGER

Goldston Engineering, Inc. currently has exciting career opportunities for Engineering Project Managers with demonstrated success in planning engineering projects, executing the design and construction administration/management of Municipal Infrastructure Projects.  Typical projects include roads and bridges; wastewater treatment plants, collection systems, and lift stations; water transmission and distribution systems; and storm water master planning and management.

The qualified candidates will have a minimum of  a bachelor’s degree from an accreted university in civil engineering, 10+ years of experience (typically serving clients such as municipal agencies, TXDOT or another state DOT), the ability to organize project tasks and teams, success in meeting or exceeding  the customer’s expectations, technical skills to meet GEI’s quality standards and business skills to meet GEI’s profit goals.  Leadership, management communication and motivational skills are important.

INSHORE MARINE PROJECTS - PROJECT MANAGER

Goldston Engineering, Inc. currently has career opportunities for Engineering Project Managers with demonstrated success in executing the planning, design and construction administration of Inshore Marine Projects.  Typical marine projects may include all facets of: liquid bulk, dry bulk, container, break bulk and multi-purpose terminals.  Projects typically included both the waterfront facilities and the backlands developments.  Wharves, jetties, dolphins, shoreline stabilization, breakwaters and dredging are typical components of the waterfront portion of these projects.  The backlands developments include buildings, pavements, and utilities.

The qualified candidates will have a graduate degree  from an accredited university  in civil engineering with an emphasis in structures, 10+ years of experience (typically serving clients such as ports, terminal operators and the petro-chemical industry), the ability to organize project tasks and teams to meet or exceed the customer’s expectations, technical skills to meet GEI’s quality standards and business skills to meet GEI’s profit goals.  The candidate must have good leadership, management communication and motivational skills.
